Paris FC, blue, XL 23.5" p2p, 28"s2h, 31"c2c (Second)
This top measures 23.5” pit to pit (width), 28” shoulder to bottom of hem (length) and 31” edge of collar to end of cuff.
I love how simple footy kits used to be. Not over designed no technical or performance shiz nobody cares about. Keep it simple and obviously make it look cool. I also love reading about footy teams who have interesting histories and who you don’t hear much about. The ones that don’t receive much attention. Paris FC are one of those teams. I hadn’t heard anything about them but I was looking at Le Coq Sportif shirts and found an old Paris FC shirt and was intrigued. Paris FC were formed in 1969 and merged with Stade Saint-Germain to form PSG in 1970. It must have been an unhappy merger because Paris FC was then reformed in 1972. As PSG flourished Paris FC declined playing in amateur leagues until 2015 when the re-established the club into professional football. Next season they are playing in Ligue 1 after winning promotion last season. What a happy ending. Anyway I saw a picture of a shirt from the late 1970s I think with no club badge but Paris FC spelt out in a very simple font and made by my faves Le Coq Sportif so I printed some tops up.
Hand screen printed on a preloved vintage sweatshirt with blue eco ink. This top has enjoyed a fun previous life with some staining to the back and one sleeve (see pics) so it’s a bit cheaper.
