Beware False Prophets, yellow XL/XXL (26"P2P, 27"S2H, 30"C2C)

My Dad loved a good film. Whenever a film was on that he loved he would always tell me to watch it. Movies like Bad Day at Black Rock, The Parallax View, Three Days of the Condor, The Searchers, any Woody Allen or Laurel and Hardy and one called Night of the Hunter.

It’s an incredible film. Robert Mitchum plays a character called Harry Powell a serial killer who poses as a preacher. He has love and hate tattooed across his knuckles. He travels across West Virginia looking for vulnerable women to kill and take all their belongings. The film really stays with you. It’s amazing, dark stuff but also beautiful with some stunning dreamy sequences and the music is wonderful. The opening of the film is very memorable with the words ‘Beware of False Prophets which come to you in sheeps clothing for inwardly they are ravening wolves’.

It made quite an impact. It got me thinking there are quite a few False Prophets around at the moment. Snake oil merchants providing simple solutions to complex problems. Trying to divide us, blaming vulnerable and defenceless people for how shit things are.

Anyway I printed some sweats that say Beware False Prophets.
